The Super Puff peaked higher three winters in a row. October is the jump.
Puffers came in at number three in Tuesday's holiday top 5. One name from that list gets its own page here: the Aritzia Super Puff. Google search data shows its winter peak climbing three years straight.
November 2023: 135,000
December 2024: 246,000
November 2025: 301,000
And the jump comes early. Last year searches went from 27,100 in September to 135,000 in October, about 5x in one month, then 301,000 in November. The October before came in at 60,500.
Now the title. Buyers search the model name. Last November, aritzia super puff hit 301,000 searches. Aritzia puffer hit 27,100. Same jacket, about 11x the searches with "Super Puff" in the title.
THE EASY BUTTON.
You heard this one in our outerwear video, and it applies to every puffer in your closet, not just Aritzia. Last November, puffer jacket women hit 201,000 searches. Puffer coat women hit 18,100. Same two numbers the November before. That’s 11x the buyers for the same coat.
If it stops at the hip, it is a puffer jacket in your title.

THE MOVE
List Super Puffs now. Super Puffs come in Shorty, Mid and Long, so put the length in the title. Title them all with "puffer jacket".

The five biggest holiday categories. The short version.
Tuesday's video ranked the holiday categories by last November and December's Google searches: UGG first, then winter boots, puffers, holiday sweaters and winter hats. Carhartt just missed the cut. Here are the moves:
Puffers list now. The North Face puffer searches hit 368,000 in November and again in December last year, and they started early: 49,500 in September, 201,000 by October. Canada Goose jacket hit 368,000 last December. The third name, the Aritzia Super Puff, is the Lead up top.

Boots last into January. Moon boots hit 550,000 last December and 450,000 in January. Same two numbers the year before. Sorel boots and Hunter boots each hit 368,000 last December.
Hats, by brand. Carhartt beanie hit 450,000 last December. Arc'teryx beanie hit 368,000. On the Arc'teryx, look for the little fossil bird logo.
Holiday sweaters die fast. Ugly christmas sweater hit 1,220,000 searches last December, then 18,100 in January. List by early November. Fair Isle holds longer: 90,500 in November and December, both years.

BOLO 01 · Activewear
Demand for women's track pants has beaten last year every month of 2026.
Google shows searches for women’s track pants at 22,200 a month up from 14,800 a year ago and tied for the highest month in four years of data. Every month this year came in above the same month last year. In 2023 it sat between 5,400 and 9,900.
The brand search went the other way. Adidas track pants women came in at 6,600, down from 12,100 a year ago. Buyers are searching the item first.
The move. List now. Last year searches held 18,100 through November. Lead the title with the brand, "women's track pants", then the size. Nylon and tricot pairs are the ones to pull.
BOLO 02 · Menswear
Same quarter zip, 17x the searches. Call it a sweater.
A follow-up to Issue 008, where we said to source men's quarter zips and list them late October. The timing still holds: last year the jump landed in November. But the title matters as much as the timing. Google search data shows quarter zip sweater hit 301,000 searches last November. Quarter zip pullover hit 18,100. Same item.
One caution. Last November was a big one for the whole quarter zip lane. Quarter zip sweater peaked at 49,500 in November 2024, so do not plan on 301,000 again. Demand has stayed higher since, though: every month of 2026 so far has come in above the same month of 2025.
The move. List quarter zips by early November with "quarter zip sweater" in the title with the material and the size.
If it says pullover on the tag, it still says sweater in your title.
BOLO 03 · Outerwear
Shearling coats peak at 60,500 every December.
Shearling coats have real demand. Last year it went to 22,200 in October, 40,500 in November and 60,500 in December. December 2023 and December 2024 hit 60,500 too.
That is 6x from August to December last year. And the noun matters. Last December, shearling coat hit 60,500 searches. Shearling jacket hit 27,100…the opposite of women’s puffers.
The move. Source now, list by early November. Sheepskin and suede shearling, women's first: shearling coat women hit 33,100 last December. Anything you list gets "shearling coat" in the title.
BOLO 04 · Women's Outerwear
Capelets have beaten last year eight months out of eight.
Google search data shows capelet at 14,800 searches in July and again in August, tied for the highest month in four years of data. A year ago it was 9,900. In 2023 it was 5,400. That’s real growth.
Every month of 2026 has come in above the same month of 2025. And it is not a holiday item. Last year it peaked at 14,800 in October and held 12,100 through December.
The move. List the capelets you have now and pull them on sight. Wool, knit, faux fur and lace. "Capelet" goes in the title, not "cape".

In Issue 005 we put adidas samba og on watch, not on a call: list the pairs you have, don't bulk source. Searches hit 201,000 in June, then 90,500 in July and 74,000 in August. Last August they were at 368,000.
Scored: CONFIRMED. FADING. If any pairs are still sitting, list them or be ready to accept offers.
