IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
Five loafer sales in a week. The ramp up is just getting started!
Two weeks ago we called loafers a BOLO. Google search data shows loafers at 165,000 searches a month, with penny loafers in particular at 60,500. Then the reports came in.
Five confirmed loafer sales landed in the first week. @ambientjoy sourced penny loafers on the call and sold them four days after posting. Anita Foster listed a pair and sold for $25 the next morning. @Theetruekidd moved two pairs, a Kirkland tassel kiltie and an AGL tassel, after switching to the keywords. Different closets, different platforms, one single call.

Here is why this is only the start. Google search data shows loafers sitting at their summer floor right now. Last year the same term climbed to 201,000 in October and 246,000 by November. Penny loafers went from this exact floor to 90,500 in October. The resellers cashing in this week are early.

Google search data. Loafers and penny loafers, monthly search volume.
The move. Keep pulling penny, tassel, and horsebit loafers. List now. The demand climbs into the fall.
The Board
Six signals, subscribers only. Google search data, most recent month July 2026.
PREMIUM BRAND BOLO · Outdoor
Arc'teryx is up 22% heading into its biggest months.
Google search data shows Arc'teryx at 368,000 searches a month, up from 301,000 last July. This is a named brand, not a generic outdoor term, and buyers already know the model they want. Last year it ran to 1,220,000 searches by November, more than three times where it sits today.
The move. Source Beta and Gamma shells, Atom jackets, and anything with the dead bird logo intact. Check the fabric tag for the model year before you price it.
BOLO 01 · Accessories
Suede is off the bench. The window opens this month.
Back in issue 001 we told you to leave suede until September. It is September. Google search data shows suede bag at 6,600 searches a month right now, its floor. Last year it ran to 49,500 by September, its single biggest month of the year. That is a seven times move, and it starts now while raffia and straw cool off. These are fall buyers reaching for texture.

Google search data. Suede bag, monthly search volume.
The move. Pull suede shoulder bags, fringe crossbodies, and slouchy hobos in cognac and chocolate. Source now, list through the fall.
BOLO 02 · Women's Footwear
Mary Janes are quietly up.
Google search data shows Mary Jane shoes at 165,000 searches a month, up from 135,000 last July. A real climb, not a spike, and it holds into the fall. This demand has been steady for months. Buyers are hunting for these shoes by name.
The move. Source leather and patent Mary Janes. Chunky lug soles, low block heels and ballet styles.
BOLO 03 · Layering
Fleece is loading for fall.
Google search data shows fleece jacket at 22,200 searches a month, up from 18,100 last July. Last year it ran to 110,000 by November, a five times climb off this same floor. Layering buyers are seasonal buyers, and the season is six weeks out.
The move. Pull half zip and full zip fleece now. Synchilla, sherpa, and plain grid fleece before they are gone. List late September.
BOLO 04 · Fall Basics
Turtleneck sits at its floor.
Google search data shows turtleneck at 27,100 searches a month, flat against last July. Last year it climbed to 74,000 by November. The floor is the buy, and nobody is fighting you for these in the bins right now.
The move. Pull merino and ribbed cotton turtlenecks now, black and cream first. List them in October.
BOLO 05 · Stop Sourcing
Floral is falling. Leave it on the rack.
Google search data shows floral dress at 49,500 searches a month, down from 60,500 last July. Every floral term we track has fallen every month since April. This is a summer print past its window.
The move. Stop sourcing floral. List the pieces you are holding and move your budget to fall prints and textures.
The Receipts
The peacoat call we made before the camera.
In issue 005 we told you peacoat was sitting at its floor and to start pulling before the ramp. That call became a video. Google search data now shows peacoat at 40,500 searches a month, up 22% from last July, climbing on schedule. Last year it ran from a 49,500 August to 246,000 by November. Subscribers had it first.
Source loafers, suede, and fleece this week. Leave the florals for someone else.
And now you know.
