THE LEAD · SOURCE NOW
The vest climbs with the jacket.
The heated jacket gets the attention on the men's winter rack. The vest is the piece next to it, and it moves on the same calendar. Google search data shows heated vest searches climbing every month into December last year.
September 2025: 18,100
October 2025: 60,500
November 2025: 135,000
December 2025: 201,000
That is 11.1x in three months, and the December before came in at 246,000. The brand cut is steadier still. Milwaukee heated vest went from 8,100 to 90,500 in 2024, then the same 8,100 to 90,500 in 2025. This September it came in at 9,900, a step ahead of last year.

THE MOVE
Source heated vests now and have them listed by mid November. The tells are a zip battery pocket at the hip and a power button on the chest. Check for the battery and the charger, and say in the listing exactly what is included. Put the brand and "heated vest" in the title, never "heated jacket" on a sleeveless piece. January still came in at 74,000 last year, so leave them listed after Christmas.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT · THE OCCASIONS VIDEO
How to resell occasions. Thanksgiving is next.
Last week's video was about the keyword retail skips between Halloween and Christmas. Here are the moves:
The climb. Google search data shows women's Thanksgiving outfit went from 14,800 searches last October to 110,000 in November. The November before hit 110,000 too.
The items. Sweater dresses, plaid, corduroy, cardigans and knit sets. A long sleeve knit dress at the knee or midi length is the piece these buyers want. Sweater dress hit 246,000 searches last November.
Where it goes. The item and the brand still go first in the title. "Thanksgiving outfit" goes at the end, in the description and in the tags.
The drop. Last December it fell to 590 searches. Take the phrase back out after the holiday.
This is the week. This September came in at 2,400, level with last September. The video said to have titles updated by the first week of November, and that is now.

The Receipts
One video, one listing, sold the same day.
Drawn to Crafts, in the comments on the Top 5 holiday categories video, where winter hats were No. 5: “I watched your video yesterday and listed an item on EBay. It sold the same day! Thank you!” It was a Victoria's Secret knit beanie and scarf set. Hats are on the Watchlist this week too.

Know the tell, and you know the title.
wheretheheartis, in the comments: “Hey -- that Jorts video got me a sale, I found a vintage pair, saw your video listed them as JORTS because of the inseam and sold them right away!” The physical tell is what turns a keyword into a sale: it tells you which word the item has earned.
I said list Mary Jane sneakers, not hold them. They came off the high.
In Issue 015 I said Mary Jane sneakers were a list now, not a hold, because last year they fell to 12,100 by December. Google search data shows August hit 60,500, then September came in at 49,500.
Scored: CONFIRMED. If you still have pairs, list them now and take fair offers.
Homecoming came in smaller that expected.
In Issue 007 I led with homecoming dress: 2,240,000 searches the September before, against 301,000 for prom dress. This September came in at 1,830,000, which is less than 2025 but still far ahead of prom dress at 246,000.
Scored: CONFIRMED. The window was real. The dresses that did not sell can be retitled with winter formal OR holiday dress.
